Nong Nooch Tropical Garden to host Traditional Loy Krathong Festival
Loy Krathong is probably the most picturesque and beautiful of Thailand’s celebrations. Pattaya’s Nong Nooch Tropical Garden will present a traditional Thai Loy Krathong festival. The Loy Krathong tradition originated hundreds of years ago to pay respect to the river, which Thais believe is one of their most important natural resources. Loy means to float, while Krathong is a lotus shaped receptacle, which one floats on the water.
The celebration is scheduled to be held on Saturday, 31 October, at the huge pond located in the Nong
